A modest footprint does not make this a trivial procedure, and your director goes through the list with you before consent. Bruising, swelling, tenderness and patchy numbness across the treated zone are expected early on. Less commonly, patients develop surface irregularity, a seroma, firm nodules beneath the skin, looseness over the emptied area, infection at the micro-entry point, or visible asymmetry when the zone has a twin on the other side.
Small areas carry one risk with particular force. A short edge means the transition to untreated skin is compressed into a short distance, so an over-enthusiastic extraction shows as a step rather than a curve. Directors treat that as the governing constraint on a mini plan, and it is why a small zone is sometimes talked upward into two.
Tell the clinic your full medical history, every medication and supplement you take, any previous surgery near the zone, and any past reaction to anaesthetic. Afterwards, wear the compression as told, keep the entry point clean and dry, and contact the clinic promptly if pain, redness, discharge or swelling climbs after the first days. A medical director is on site throughout opening hours in Seoul, Korea, so somebody qualified can look at the area.
